Smart Car, Dumb Driver...
How about those little SMART cars running around, eh? I haven't driven one but I've followed more than my fair share. Does anyone know if they come equipped with signals, because it doesn't seem like anyone uses them if they are part of the package (maybe it's an extra option). Did you know that the only thing that actually makes the car special, other than weighing less than Minnie Driver, is that it has a diesel engine. Yup. It's not even electric or somehow envio-friendly.
Oh yeah, it also has a titanium safety cage that will apparently stand quite a strong impact. Makes me want to buy a Hummer and run down a few of those little tin cans. Simply to test the safety features, of course....

it certainly is nice to see cars that'll actually fit in parking spaces. anybody else notice how we went to large-sized SUVs and hummers and huge pickup trucks with quintuple-quad-crew-cabs and sixteen rear axles, yet never made any bigger parking spaces for them?
ridiculous oversight, i say. somewhere out there, a paving company or two are kicking themselves over never applying for a government contract to redo all of North America's parking lots...
