Immeasurable Power...
When you hear the words, "immeasurable power," what do you think of? Hurricane force winds? The Incredible Hulk? Or perhaps a pair of old, smelly gym socks?
I saw a Toyota Tundra commercial last night. They said that the truck had "immeasurable power." What a mystery! I am tempted to look into the purchase of such an inexplicable vehicle.
Then right away, this came up on the screen: 381hp
So the immeasurable power of the Toyota Tundra is measured at 381 horse power. Well, mystery solved. Bummer....

Maybe the use of 'immeasurable power' is subject to the tool used for measuring.
If I had a ruler and I was asked to measure the power of the SUV, I'd blankly stare back at the requester and say, "sir, this power is immeasurable. I am unable to measure this."
This said, claiming immeasurable power really does lay the ground-work for future advertisements.
if iMP = Tundra
iMP + 2 = New SUV
iMP + nSUV + 5 = Big Truck
BT - nSUV - 5 /2 = Pontiac Vibe
Sooner or later these ads will turn into complex formulas based on the power that initially could not be measured with the Tundra.
